How do I turn on my license?
Add WiSE to a chart, type your email in the window that opens and click Activate. We email you a key. Copy the key into the Serial Key box and click Activate again. A popup says Successfully registered! See Getting Started.
How do I update WiSE?
Download the new version from your dashboard, import it with Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On... and answer Yes every time NinjaTrader asks to replace files. You do not need to remove the old version first. Restart NinjaTrader when it asks you to; the new version loads after the restart.
Which template should I start with?
Clean is the everyday chart. Full control shows everything and is good for learning how signals form, but it is too crowded for daily use. See the template list.
What chart does WiSE work best on?
WiSE works with any bar type and timeframe. It is popular on an ES 2000 tick chart with an EMA period of 21.
Why are some symbols grey?
Grey symbols are signals your filters hid. They stay on the chart in the Hidden Color and do not alert. See Filtering Signals.
What does a yellow 2 mean?
It is a predicted second entry. It turns green or red when a bar breaks the previous bar. See Understanding the Signals.
What do c and x mean?
A second entry that does not reach the Profit Target and then breaks the prior bar the other way is marked challenged (c). If it then breaks the stop behind the signal bar, it is marked failed (x).
Why is a setting missing from the settings window?
The window hides rows that do nothing with your current choices. Turn on the setting above it and the row comes back. See Hidden rows.
Can I use WiSE in a strategy?
Yes. Set the Signal rows to the signals you want plotted, and your NinjaScript strategies can read those plots. See Using WiSE in automated strategies.
Can a live chart differ from the same chart after a reload?
In a few cases, yes. For example, a 1 or 2 shown on a forming bar can move or disappear when the bar closes. The full list is under Known limits.
How do I uninstall WiSE?
Go to Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly in NinjaTrader.
