Refund Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This page summarizes how refunds work at Wizdough. It restates the refund terms already contained in our Terms of Service and Software License & Services Agreement; if anything here conflicts with those documents, they control.

The short version

  • Try before you pay. Subscription products include a 7-day free trial — that is your evaluation period. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged at all.
  • One-time purchases have a 7-day money-back guarantee. Not for you? Ask for a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • Beyond that, purchases are final. All other fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law (including EU consumer withdrawal rights) or as described below.
  • You can cancel anytime. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.

Free trials

Every subscription product starts with a 7-day free trial. You will see the exact charge amount and the date billing starts before you confirm checkout, and we email a reminder before your trial converts to a paid subscription. To avoid any charge, cancel from your dashboard before the trial ends.

Subscriptions

  • Canceling a subscription stops the next renewal. No pro-rata refund is issued for the remainder of the current billing period; your access continues until the period ends.
  • Downgrading to a shorter term results in a credit for the remaining length of the existing term. Credits are not refundable and can only be applied to Wizdough subscription services.
  • If Wizdough terminates your subscription without cause, you receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current subscription period.

One-time purchases

One-time software purchases (such as Tick Chart Compare) include a 7-day money-back guarantee: if the product isn't for you, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked. After 7 days, one-time purchases are final, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Exceptions required by law

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, including EU/UK statutory withdrawal rights where they apply.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we resolve most issues quickly and honor the refund terms above. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us may result in suspension of your account and access to purchased products while the dispute is investigated. If a chargeback is later determined to be invalid, we reserve the right to recover the disputed amount and any related fees. Nothing here limits your statutory rights or your right to a refund under this policy.

How to cancel or ask about a refund

  • Cancel: manage your subscription from your dashboard at any time before renewal.
  • Questions or refund requests: contact us and include the email address on your account. We respond to all refund inquiries.
