Order Block Scope is an indicator for NinjaTrader 8. It finds a fair value gap with a break of structure before it, draws the order block, and marks when price comes back to retest it.

From a gap to a retest.

Find the FVG
It finds a fair value gap (FVG): a gap left across three candles. You can ask for the middle candle to have the largest body, and for all three candles to point the same way.

Find the BOS or CHoCH
By default it looks back up to 20 bars before the gap for a break of the last swing high or swing low. A break with the trend is a break of structure (BOS); a break against it is a change of character (CHoCH).

Draw the order block
It draws the order block on the bar with the lowest low (bullish) or the highest high (bearish) between the broken swing and now, from that bar’s high to its low.

Fade it when it ends
The block stays active until a bar closes through it (broken) or until its last retest (mitigated). From then on it is drawn faded.

Mark the retest
When price comes back into an active block after a bar fully outside it, an arrow marks the retest with BOS or CHoCH under or over it. A plot is set for strategies. On a live chart each retest also goes to the NinjaTrader Alerts window with the alert sound, and Play sound on retest adds one more sound. By default a block takes up to 2 retests, at least 30 bars apart, and after the 2nd retest it is drawn faded.
