Getting Started

SweepScope is an indicator for NinjaTrader 8. It marks where price sweeps liquidity resting above equal highs or below equal lows, and the swing points around each sweep. It also marks sweeps of the prior day high and low, the overnight high and low, and the opening range. This guide takes you from download to a working chart. Requirements

SweepScope runs on NinjaTrader 8. Install it before you begin. The prior day, overnight and opening range levels need an intraday chart.

Install or update

1. Download SweepScope from your dashboard.
2. In NinjaTrader's Control Center, open Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On... (NinjaTrader add-on installation guide).
3. Select the downloaded .zip file. If NinjaTrader asks whether to replace existing files, answer Yes every time.
4. Restart NinjaTrader when it asks you to.

To uninstall, go to Tools → Remove NinjaScript Assembly.

Add SweepScope to a chart

1. Right click your chart and select Indicators.
2. Find SweepScope in the indicator list, in the Wizdough folder.
3. Click Add, then OK.

Turn on your license

The first time SweepScope loads on a chart, NinjaTrader opens the SweepScope Registration window. It shows your Hardware ID and PC Name, and an Email box.

1. Type your email in the Email box and click Activate. We email you a key.
2. Copy the key into the Serial Key box and click Activate again.
3. On a trial, the window says You have activated the license: trial.

If you close the window without activating, NinjaTrader shows an Invalid License error and SweepScope does not load. Reload the chart (F5) to open the window again.

Start from a template

SweepScope comes with four templates. In the indicator window, click template at the bottom to load one of the first three:

• ES 1 minute: the default settings.
• ES 5 minute: settings for a 5 minute chart. Swing Lookback Period is 3, Equal High/Low Tolerance (Ticks) is 4 and Max Bars in Cluster is 40.
• Clean key levels: the prior day, overnight and opening range lines with their sweep triangles. The equal high and low zones, their labels and the swing labels are hidden. Their sweeps still get a triangle.

SweepScope ES is a chart template: right click the chart and open Templates → Load. It sets up an ES 1 minute chart with SweepScope on the ES 1 minute settings. After loading it, check that the chart shows the contract you trade.

StructureScope

StructureScope (listed as SweepScope Structure before version 1.00.1) comes in the same download and shows up in your indicator list next to SweepScope. It is a helper: SweepScope runs its own hidden copy of it to find swing points. You do not need to add it yourself. The settings it has when added on its own are on the Settings page.
