Getting Started

Download Indicator Toggle for free, import it into NinjaTrader 8, and add it to a chart to get its Indicators button.

Indicator Toggle puts one Indicators button on the chart toolbar in NinjaTrader 8. Click it for a list of the indicators on that chart, each with a checkbox, plus your saved sets and buttons that hide your drawings and trade markers. It is free with a Wizdough account. This guide covers version 1.1.0; the Indicator Toggle product page has the overview.

Requirements

Indicator Toggle runs on NinjaTrader 8. It works on any chart, instrument and bar type.

Download

  1. Sign in or create a free account on wizdough.com and confirm your email.
  2. Open your Indicator Toggle download page and download the zip.

Install or update

  1. In NinjaTrader's Control Center, open Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On... (NinjaTrader installation guide).
  2. Select the downloaded .zip file. If NinjaTrader asks whether to replace existing files, answer Yes.
  3. Restart NinjaTrader if it asks you to.

Add it to a chart

In NinjaTrader, Indicator Toggle is an indicator, so you add it the way you add any other.

  1. Right click the chart and select Indicators.
  2. Find Indicator Toggle in the indicator list, in the Wizdough folder, and double click it.
  3. Click OK.

The Indicators button with a small arrow now sits on the chart toolbar. Add Indicator Toggle once per chart. With several charts in one window, each tab shows its own button only while that tab is open.

If the button does not appear, press F5 on the chart. NinjaTrader sometimes opens a workspace before the chart window is ready, and a reload adds the button.
